Writing Instructions

It was easy to find the ingredients from my friend. I had to remember what order we did things in. Instructions help us make delicious things again. I found it tricky to remember how to set it out so it was easy to follow.

I found it easy to share out equally. Next I can use my knowledge of fractions to solve the problem easily. I know that half of 18 is 9 and sharing between 2 people is the same as halving.

We are learning to get capital letters in the right place all the time. I find both hard because I forget where to put them. I like having help. Capital letters are hard for me.

I am proud of myself for picking a hard shape. I need to learn more of the words that describe the shape like it has a shorter line on the top and a longer line on the bottom.

I am learning how to do contractions. I can find the words that match. I know that a contraction is when you take out a letter. Next I will be learning how to write them and miss out the right letters. In spelling this week I am learning "can't, isn't and don't".

My reflection: I like fractions. I can find the half of a shape. It is hard to find a quarter. My next step is to learn what other fractions are.

My reflection: I find it hard to write the number 12. I get it mixed up with 20. I find it hard to get my 6s, 9s, and teen numbers the right way. I can find numbers before and after to 20.
